People is the most important value for our Company. KPO continues enhancing its employees’ qualification and attract young professionals by cooperation with universities.
KPO Scholarship Programme for national employees and their children is one of the constituent incentives for professional development and further education of employees and their children.
In 2020, within this programme KPO allocated KZT 15,950 mln (equivalent to US$ 37,639 k) to sponsor scholarships for nine KPO employees and 20 children of employees.
Dynamics of engagement in the KPO Scholarship Programme, 2010-2020
KPO continues its cooperation with the Qazaqstani universities in order to attract young specialists. This cooperation is treated by the Company as a mutually beneficial activity that contributes to the training and adaptation of young professionals for employment. Interaction with universities is carried out through the Student Placement Programme based on the signed agreements.
In 2020, 106 students from 14 educational institutions had practical and pre-graduate internship on 18 specialities in various departments of the Company. In view of the epidemiological situation in the country, KPO has suspended the admission of students for internships since March 2020. In the period from 2013 to 2020, the Company has employed 172 people out of those, who had passed the student placement.
